So I just suckered myself into watching Tank Girl and was reminded that awhile back Mr. Hewlett had drawn images to go along with Pulp's song Common People. I looked it up and a nice gent was hosting it here. Thought some of you might be interested.

that my guilt over this is driving a wedge
and what will happening if i start telling the truth now?
and i cannot for the life of me remember why i started some.
and if i do
i don't, for reasons that are stupider then i hoped.

That last bit is excellent. I love you. I'm in the same belljar, that's exactly what Crystal and I were talking about this weekend. I think we and alot of people we trust live off of subtext so it's all relative. Still. Hey, someone at work was just bitching about their car and you know what it reminded me of? When we fixed your shocks or your muffler or whatever it was on your car with duck tape! I can't believe we made that 2 hour drive.

yes i do remember that. though;
BASIC AUTO-SHOP LESSON:
shocks would pertain to the wheels/axles
muffler is closer . . .
however it was; the length of pipe that connects the muffler to the (sp?)catalytic-converter had rusted through.
the (sp?)catalytic-converter is connected by another length of piping to the engine. an the knees bone's connected to the leg bone.
but you were close ::hands you a kupie doll::
plus, if memory serves, the tape didn't do a whole lotta good past the first 10 min.
but what i most remember is almost crushing Em's cute an useful head
which i still feel awful about . . .
but it's funny now right? right? (don't hurt me)

No problem my love. Yeah, you'd think I'd remember more general auto info all things considered. Amd you're RIGHT! It did wear off after a little bit! But it did help get us home. Em is going to laugh her useful head off at that.

Did you see Tank Girl on TV? It was just on TV here. I was entranced for a moment by Devo's Freedom of Choice being played on CBS or whatever the fuck it was. Then I realized it was a movie I really hated.
