Happy Thanksgiving!
Umm. I have been reading a lot of D. H. Lawrence the past couple of days and not necessarily enjoying it. But I learned a new word! Or, I guess that more accurately I finally bothered to look up a word that keeps cropping up. Expiate. v. to atone for, to make amends or reparations.
