just remember, driving is a PRIVLAGE, not a right. too many people get those two mixed up and thus we have more and more fucking retards who get behind all amounts of wheels every day, but don't have anything past, "well, the one on the right makes it go fast, and the one in the middle makes it stop. but the one on the left is for really cool turns and it makes the car make funny sounds."

I agree w/ this person. Privileges can be taken away from you, and people take driving for granted. I used to feel the same way as you, Nick, but after you end up having to drive people around for months and once you get sick of it, you may feel different about driving.

My favorite part about driving is just cruising by myself, putting on my favorite tunes, and just relaxing and having some "me" time.

I think you miss-understand. I don't want to learn how to drive. I need to. It is necessary.

Most people think they ~need~ to drive, but in fact public transportation works better then most people think. however, there are plenty of circumstances that require the use of one's own personal mode of get-around.

If you would like to learn how to drive, and you have your permit, feel free to get ahold of either drea or myself and I'll take you out for a non-crashing course out and about.

Not to be cocky about it, but I do feel that I am quite the damn fine operator of the common vehicle. (even if it doesn't have windshield wipers that work while I drive in snow that's falling likes I'm diring through a ski pass, AND I have no idea where I am or where I'm going. that makes me a card carring bad ass driver. minus the card.)
