So in 2010, I set out with the lofty goal of watching 100 movies for the year. I included on the list thus far movies that I hadn't seen before with the exception of a few which are starred. Eventually, I'm going to rate the list or at least mark which movies I would not recommend/wasted my life. Or at least I'll do it next year.

You're so close to 100! There's no way I'm going to get there, but maybe next year. I'd like to at least get to 60 or so.

How was Alice in Wonderland? I'm assuming that's the Tim Burton one. I have it in my Netflix instant queue, but I wasn't sure how I'd like this adaptation (although I loved SyFy's Alice mini-series).

I saw Son of Rambow at a local film festival and I thought it was pretty good.

Sorry this took me a bit to get to, my inbox has been a bitch. I really want to try to watch 100 movies next year and have them be totally and completely new to me, you know?

I didn't mind Alice in Wonderland from Tim Burton. I was worried about it, because I thought it would sort of just be a lame adaptation of the original, but it's a completely different take and story. I really love HBC so she really made the movie for me and I also love the girl who played Alice (who was in The Kids Are Alright too) I thought it was visually stimulating but not the best I've ever seen, I thought some of the direction choices were questionable, but it's Burton so I took it as it was and as a Burton film, I enjoyed it.
