Ah, 2006. I spent the last few days in Nashville with Chris for the Music City Bowl. It was an incredibly exciting game, and the good guys won (thank goodness!) Last night was much fun. Saturday is the football game against Virginia Tech, and it is going to be on ESPN. So we are camping out to get front row seats. This camping out insanely started last night. There's 12 of us so we're doing it in shifts. There's about 10 different groups, all with tents camping outside of the stadium. It's nuts. College football was all kinds of exciting last night. I feel very sad for Vanderbilt. They went into double overtime only to lose to #13 Florida. According to the commentators, Vanderbilt has had 51 consecutive losses to ranked teams. So a win against Florida would be monumental. But alas, it was not to be ( Read more... )

I am ashamed of my lack of faith in my school. I did not think we had a chance in this world of beating FSU (which was ranked number 4 whereas we were ranked absolutely nothing at all), but we did, and it was beautiful. My family is driving me crazy. It's a very rough transistion going from being on my own at college and coming home to all sorts of craziness.
