Personally, I think that if you at all like the idea of being a missionary, you should do it. I'm not religious, but it seems like it would be a great way to see the world and do something you're really passionate about.

I'd say that you should only become a missionary unless you feel led to become one. You can do Godly things without being in God's will for you, if you get what I'm saying. What I mean is that you could become a missionary, when you're really meant to be used somewhere else, and so you would be in the wrong role almost. By all means, go on mission, but I'd say that actually becoming a missionary requires a lot of thought and prayer beforehand. :D

Thanks for your comment :D I'm going to pray about it. A lot, haha. And I realize that lots of people become missionaries, and they forget that their own community that they live in is in need of help as well, so I don't want to become one of those people. Thank you again for the advice, it's greatly appreciated. :]
