there's a deer outside my window. it's looking at me. that's a little weird. this weekend was pretty laid back. the whole 24 hour quiet hours thing for finals week sucks. so does finals week. it's so intimidating, and it's really psyching me out. that and i can't help that every time i go to the library and open my books i feel like i'm gonna fall ( Read more... )

duuude windows haaave to be open at least just a teensy bit to LIVE in our dorms! don't hsut it dude.. it's easy to put on layers, a little harder to get oxygen when there IS NONE! seems like the 24-hour quiet would be kinda relaxing though. a little breathing time. or maybe it just sucks. i'll see when i get there.

Come visit the Santa Barbara UUs. Not all that hippyish, and light on traditional religious trappings. Also, the Live Oak UU group that meets at the hall on Fairview, just above (mountain side)Cathedral Oaks is a good group, and the sponsor a great music series of non-religious music, generally in a folk mode, but with other directions, too.
