I almost can't wait to be past this point in my life. And yet, isn't this supposed to be the best time of my life? Shouldn't I be milking it for everything it's worth? It feels like the best and the worst all smushed up into one

sorry for the random comment (clicked here from ut lj), but that's exactly how i feel a lot of time time. i think whoever calls anything the best time in their life is suffering from the illusions of nostalgia.
