you know you always seem to have some kind of haughty attitude when you talk (or type, rather) to me and i'm not really sure why. please correct me if i'm just misinterpreting you.

but anyway, obviously i'm well aware of what it is. and i think thats facinating. i'm actually quite surprised you don't agree considering your feild of study.

im not being rude at all. if i was being rude i wouldnt have said no offense.

i just dont find it that fascinating because millions of other drum beats are stolen. this one just happened to be a little different, and cooler. and easier to recognize.

well, yes i realize that but i just get this feeling like you think i'm somehow inferior to you a lot. not just in this specific example. but if thats not how you mean to come across then i apologize.

but yeah i'm not saying that millions of other beats aren't stolen its just that this is so commonly used and yet not a lot of people know about it. and me and my friend discovered it while listening to music the other day so we thought it was really cool that there was actually this whole big history behind it. maybe it was just one of those had-to-be-there things.
