If you ever find the perfect church...

About a month ago our tiny church was shut down by the (diocese, regional whatever?) and we've been church hopping, looking for a new home. Maybe this was just as well: since moving to the South I've not made a lot of women friends my age so I am hoping to find some in a new, larger congregation

It's really hard to find a 'right fit'. We're at a church we like now, but they're selling the building, and there's no telling where they'll move. If they move down into OKC, we'll probably try to find something closer. But churchs here tend to be very conservative, so it's a struggle...

We tried four churches and settled on the one my son and daughter-in-law go to. Some of the others had factual errors in the sermons, or--dare I say it--were places we did not fit in due to socioeconomic reasons. Our new community could be geographically closer, but I get to see my son and his wife every week. That alone makes it a win.
