I love this damn book.  I love it to pieces, and the english version of the book has a cover that is well... PANTS. Its boring. Uninspiring. Slightly spooky, but so clearly in the 'adult' market, all creativity sacrificed to differentiate it from a lot of Mckinley's other work which usually wrongly ends up in the childrens/teens section.

The book? because it wont have this cover, I hope you know that! I am just a humble art student. not a succesful freelance illustrator. yet!

But sunshine is a beautiful book. well worth the read.

Maria, it is fantastic! I love how you kept her in pencil and how the background is that beautiful deep red. It suits the story perfectly. Oh, and I've started but not finished it, three quarters of the way through now and enjoying it very much.
