I introduce to the world.... The Medievalist's Martini

In a large martini glass mix 1 shot of vodka with a quick splash of ginger ale. Fill the rest of the glass with verjuiceIf you cannot get verjuice, you can substitute white grape juice that has been mixed with a splash of vinegar

The martini is pretty yummy, too. Some day I'll have a proper venue to introduce it to a mass audience.

At Kalamazoo someone asked me if I were Henchminion. I told him no, but that Henchminion was a tall redhead and an excellent swordsman, and that I was honored to be mistaken for her... erm, you. Whatever.

I love the wee umbrella in the beach knight's drink : )
