They actually screamed at John? That's pretty shabby. The whole situation is total crap--I'm so sorry you had to go through that >:( and I think you did right in refusing the promotion, considering the way they screwed you over.

I have to admit that it felt good to have them come begging after me. I'm still pissed, but I'm VINDICATED and pissed. They have recognized the awesomeness that is me, and realize how much they're missing out by not having my super-coolness around.

And I have the moral high ground, in that at no point did I actually tell them to suck it. I wanted to, but I resisted the temptation.

No, the first day I was out in Ohio for the last trip (the one during which I did NOT meet up with you, BTEG, the Scientist, and Wildchild) was my birthday. I did actually have a nice birthday surprise, in that my Dad cooked me a special dinner and made a cake for me.

Huh...that's wierd, why the heck would they scream at your husband. I guess smaller businesses can get away with a lot more than big ones like Macys.
