The winner is....

The winner at the 2004 American Cheese Society conference in Milwaukee was Gran Canaria, a cheese made from a blend of cow, goat, and sheep's milk. All of the animals are grass-fed (which generally means more flavor in the milk, and thus, in cheeses made from the milk) in Wisconsin's Carr Valley. The cheesemonger (and what more wonderful word is there than "CHEESEMONGER", I ask you?) said that 'the discerning palate would be able to note each of the three milks'.

I couldn't. So much for my palate.

hehe, cheesemonger that is so awesome. I like cheese, but most of the cheeses made around here are cheddar, which is good, but you really can't eat it all the time.
