This was a beautiful read. Thank you. I want this: "Living is a bitch but at least the seasons change and you get older -- provided you don't die" embroidered onto a cushion or something, but for now (if you don't mind) I'll just write it on a scrap of paper and pin it to the wall next to all my other scraps of paper of things I need to be reminded of as often as possible.

Thank you! I never know if anyone's going to find my randomness interesting. That sentence was basically my summary of Spring Awakening, hehe, so steal away. The first part came from a song in the show called 'The Bitch of Living' -- I recommend you look it up on Youtube and enjoy the angst. :D

Er, having now listened to 'The Botch of Living' a few times and actually deciphered the lyrics I've realised it's about masturbation. LOL.

I liked this a lot. Jams and I have the discussion about time all the time. The paintings also a good one. Les Trois Graces, indeed.

Obviously my PhD idea grew out of my fascination with time, but the more I learn about it the more fascinated I become. We can measure it in so many ways but can we actually understand it?

"I was listening to Rent and started wondering why Mark and Roger didn't just get real jobs and pay their damn rent."

HA! Still haven't seen Rent you know. Rec?

Your layout cares not a jot that I put spaces in this. Which reminds me, you want a Cate Blanchett layout?

Bb! You're too kind. And you make me laugh so hard my flatmate is going to think I need to be sectioned. Rent is rad. Watch some on the Youtubes!

ARE YOU SAYING MY LAYOUT IS FAT?

It's very skinny. My glasses cannot detect mass!

Whatevs. I don't want a layout right now, thank you, I just changed to this one and when I commit, I really commit. What I would like is a Liz Lemon "What the WHAT?" icon. Ta.

"In the allegory of the seasons, summer is adolescence, and adolescence lasts until the age of 28."

You know, that's really interesting, because I'm 28 and I've begun to realise lately that I finally don't feel like an adolescent anymore... mostly.

Sweet! Three more years for me. Maybe by then I'll stop feeling so resistant to the passage of time.
