What the....!

When our phone provider called my mum, for YEARS they asked for Mr. ____ and she'd always have to tell them he'd been dead for over 20 years. And obviously the bills are paid in the name of Mrs. ____. It must be in their phone scripts or something, but it's still bizarre. And it's incredibly odd to hear about it the context of automated forms!

Ugh! We had the exact same thing when we all went up to Auckland end of last year.. Alison's brother Peter came and he had NOTHING to do with the booking/organising at all and I put him last on the list but of course the itinery was for Mr Peter but the actual emails were all "Hi Catherine!".
I was spitting tacks. It was with Pacific Blue/Virgin airline. I'm sure their excuse/explanation would be that its an automated system and be really confused as to why we are annoyed.
