1. Why do you require credit?
Why? Not because we're elitist or anything, but simply this: Say you're looking through a journal and see an icon you like. You go to that user's userpics and find it. If there's a credit there, who knows! You may go look and find other icons you like. But if there's no credit, then the enjoyment ends at that one page.
We just like to let people know who made icons.
2. Why did you move everything from safire-grafics to this community?
Because, after a while, it just seemed like the easiest thing to do. It's easier to keep up with a community with my personal journal rather than constantly logging into the graphics journal.
3. Why anime?
Because it's simply an interest. Personally, I find anime and manga images easier to edit and manipulate for graphics than "real" people. Though, it's fun to mess with "real" people just as well. But don't worry, we're not ALL about anime around here.
4. How do we credit?
Aside from using the "lj user="xx" command in your userpic comments, as far as who credit doesn't really bother us. You can credit safire-icons (since it's where you found the icon), or you can even credit impression/safire-icons since we're the ones who made it. Either way, we're not that strict about how you credit.
