Topic relating to Mush

I would like to see a BB/debate board accessible by the general public with a premise that could be valuable in the coming years.

The premise is simple. If text play is going to survive we need a debate board that's more available to new folks interested in the constructive parts of the general topic.

Hey, I was pointed here by someone. Hope you don't mind.

The problem I really had with it was what you say above -- being abusive is the rule of survival, and a lot of the people involved weren't interested in any kind of discussion. We referred to SWOFA as "the monkey pit." It was a mess, and it was a mess I needed to walk away from for so many reasons.

I've thought about doing some sort of semi-constructive board that's only SC, without the board for screeching and poo-flinging, but I keep mulling it over and I'm still not sure. I've had some volunteers to help out on a project like that, but I'm still mulling.

Thanks for the thought that something like that would be worthwhile.

Yeah, I was working on a project of that sort last summer before I had to give up all online projects :/

I hope you both come back and read this. It is possible to have a board that enables the rants as well as the kudos. We learn from both
