1.  Today was gray and drizzly and should have been "blah" but I love it because it reminds me of Seattle, which I'm missing more and more lately.  Plus, the weekend was perfect, sunny, and gorgeous and I was able to sit at the park in the sun and do some writing yesterday, so it can be gray on Monday when I'm stuck at work all it wants.  :P

Yay for writing.

Re. 4 - that's a sticky one. Talk about a rock and a hard place. Is there any way you can talk to First Friend and get her to agree for you pass along the phone number? Then it's up to her to ignore Second Friend's voice mails or whatever. I don't see why it should be on you. For one thing, how much more humiliating will it be for Second Friend if she has to hear it from a third party? I don't think anyone deserves that.

I know, it's such a sucky situation. I keep trying to think "what's the most mature way to deal with this" but it's really a no-win situation. :( I ended up emailing Second Friend and telling her I think she should email First Friend at a certain account. I took like 4 days to respond so it's obvious I was checking on permission to share the phone number, but I didn't come out and say so... I'm pretty sure the email will just be ignored, but that in itself is an answer.

Sad. :(

Good choice.

Re: the internet thingy, do you have DSL because I was always dropping my connection, esp. when Bee was online too. Unrelatedly, I got a DECT phone and it's been tons better since then. If you don't have DSL though I haven't got a clue. I'm not even certain the DECT phone was the real answer but it does stop the static I got if I ran the microwave while I on the phone.

We have broadband through Comcast. I'm not sure if that's DSL or not... We're going to move the wireless router to another location tonight and see if that works (but I'm nervous because once we disconnect it I can see us having trouble getting it functional again - YARF I HATE THIS CRAP).
