Woke up this morning to new snow on the ground and LittleMan in my bed, who gave me a hug and then promptly threw up on me. What a way to wake up.

Suck it up is right-or as we say in ranchin' country, cowgirl up. Sounds like you're in for it, darling; hardly fair after all you've been through, and are still facing. I hope the FireMan is appreciative.

I know how hard it is to deal with relatives like your mother-in-law. I'll never forget being an undergrad and reading Millon's casebook of personality disorders-it was eerie to read the descriptions of narcissism. I thought the man must have interviewed my mother. "Managing difficult people skillfully" (read learning to tell white lies, black lies, any kind of lies to get through it, and realizing you're addressing the dysfunction instead of the person behind it) is quite a trick.

I hope you can find internet access (think they have it TN) somewhere, and get some support and diversion that way. Drive safe, and be well. We're all here for you.

Thanks, i know reading the DSM IV on college for me was like a dictionary of my family and friends' neuroses. Quite fascinatin, actually.
We say "cowgirl Up" too here, since this be colorado and I went to a cow college.
