These things are positively ridiculous. That old excuse for a Headmaster expects us to write in them ever week. It is not as if we have time as it is for other things and now he is execting this out of us. Well, forgive me, oh great Headmaster, but I am unable and unwilling to do this weekly. Perhaps every other week, maybe, but no more. I ( Read more... )

Darling Daphne, what a nasty temper you have. Do stop pouting; you'll get frown lines.

I rather like her temper.

I never said I didn't. Regardless, her skin is far too lovely to have it marred.

From childhood’s hour I have not been
As other were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow, I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone
And all I loved, I loved alone.

I wouldn't expect you to be familiar with a muggle poet, pet. But it seemed appropriate to your sentiments. As to which, I am completely in agreement.

Ms. Greengrass, my dear, I would exclude you if I was allowed such a thing. However, excusing one student would mean excusing everyone. That would not do well for House Unity at all, now would it?

I, for one, believe that the Project is going quite well.

If you believe that house unity is possible, Sir, then who am I to doubt you?

I've tried throwing the journal away, it just appears back in my trunk. I've tried setting it on fire, it doesn't burn. I've given up fighting. It's not that hard to write a couple of sentences every week, is it? No.

As you have shown, it appears to be an impossible feat to rid ourselves of this thing. One sentence a week is all that is needed? I will be counting on you to help me remember, Pansy.

I will try my best not to disappoint you.

It would take an exceeding amount for you to do so, my dear.
