I got sick on Tuesday, the 5th.  I had 4 days of fever, and it fried my brain. I am still very slow mentally, and things are difficult, and life feels harder than usual.

My brain is fried.

It's a fitting day for my first entry.

I had a splendid New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.  Last night at some house in Somerville with Irka and her SCUL friends... after a deep and wonderful car nap, I was dazed and waking up in front of party-goers and the Metropolis by Fritz Lang, "the masterpiece" which I had scarcely heard of before.
