Norman finally emerges from his lab, with a solution for the Tribble Menace. He goes around the nexus, setting down smallish metal capsules (about the size of a softball) wherever he goes. Written on each is the following -- "Tribble sterilisation unit. Do not tamper with."
One minute until activation...
Edit: And after that minute is up, there's a soft hissing from the capsules, as a fine mist fills the air. It will have no effect on humans, reploids, aliens, etc -- nothing but tribbles will be affected. They, however (bar the one or two lucky enough to have mutated to a very great degree), will be rendered completely sterile. Unable to breed... and thus, posing no danger to anyone or anything.
