Why I keep important things in a backpack...
While I was gone, Cole went back to her own universe for a while. This sort of leaves me without a job and a place to stay again. I'm going to be staying with Leader-1 again for a while, so that's not too much of a problem. Well, except that I'll have to hide my pet tribbles somewhere in the Nexus, because I can't teleport them and I don't think they'd do well there even if I could.
I'd really like to go home, but I'm still getting that wierd teleport error. There are more people around now that know about the kind of teleport drive I have. Does anyone know what to do if you get an error that says a place just isn't there any more? *frowns a little, looks very in denial about something* I think maybe Cole and Leader-1 know something about why I can't get home, but they haven't said.
Also, if anyone has some sort of work I can do, I'd like some suggestions. I can repair some things, if I have the parts and as long as it's not anything more complicated than a metool. And I can clean and cook and run errands.
((little explanation here on the teleport thing: Shortly after Quint was introed there was plan to have him live with Sane!Wily, but the mun ended up losing inspoiration for the chara. We worked around this for two months before giving up and pulling the teleport glitch as a copout. Technically Sane!Wily's Cell dr_al_w has somehow managed to skip a patch of time and vanished in a chronal anomaly.
This means that if the mun ever gets the chara back he can reappear with no time having passed on his end of things... but it looks unlikely he'll be back by now. And until/unless that happens, the place really isn't there. Quint's teleporter gets an error saying the coordinates are invalid and the place doesn't exist, and Cole using her own sort of teleportation sensed the place as 'a black hole'.
Quint, however, has been stubbornly in denial about the whole thing and repeatedly keeps trying to teleport there... despite that precog senses are telling him he won't be going back.))
