Okay, say you have a friend that was nearly killed, and well, he's better, but, he's kind of unable to recall the last eighteen months.

How would you go about filling in the blanks? And are there some things you wouldn't tell him about?

Keep in mind, some of what happened could cause him a lot of pain, that I would like to try to spare him from if possible.
