"Hi!" Ballade smiles at everyone and begins to chatter.
"Quint gave me two books as presents. With lots of pictures. One's on explosives and one's on jet planes. Flying's cool."
"And he was reading a story to me - cause he wanted to, I can read on my own - and it's called 'The Hobbit' from some book Dreadboots let him borrow and it's kinda cool with all these giant spiders and a dragon and all, but it doesn't have enough explosives and nobody flies in it except the Eagles and they're not in much of it and..."
"Um..." he pauses, trying to remember what he was going to ask.
"So, do you have any favorite books? Do they have pictures? And explosions? Do you know any books I might like? I think I might like books..."

"Oh, yeah, and there's all this holiday stuff and I saw a real Santa here, at least he said he was real, I know the ones in the stores aren't 'cause I blew one up once, but he said something about coal, and switches. So, what's something fun to make out of coal or wooden switches? I thought of baskets but I dunno if they'll be any good for that. Maybe a fire?"
