According to some theories, each possible occurrence leads to divergent realities. According to this theory, your decision to have toast with butter instead of jam might lead to a new plane of existence. To most people, such a thought will leave them scrambling for the nearest bottle of their pain killer of choice, and the eventual acceptance that there all things happen as they should, and such parallel realities are a figment of a chemically enhanced mind.

But such realities do exist, and within them, concepts such as good triumphing over evil are not universal, or multiversal, as the case may be. In fact, sometimes the forces of Chaos itself can assure that a reality ceases to be. It's happened before, and it will no doubt happen again.

A dolphin suddenly finds itself in the Nexus. Have faith, it is related.

It flips around a moment, squeaking in panic. A moment later, it splits in half, and, what do you know, it's another Cybertronian inside, this one what looks like a giant bat. Its form shifts, and a tall, female rises to her feet. A Nexus convenient pool is nearby, and she helps the shell over to it. She looks around, then notices the sign. Her head tilts, and she stares a moment without reaction. Then, face meets palm with a loud clang.

"So," she asks after a moment, "How bad is it when you've survived the death of two realities? Are you lucky or the opposite?"

She looks around another moment. "And, um, has anyone seen a mech named Ratchet?"

((And mun would like to know on what plane of existance THAT was the right spelling of 'occurrence', Firefox.))
