It looks like some kind of miniature winged horse. It's got more legs than a bird, anyway.
And then there's a rush, and a falcon shriek, and where the minipeg had been is now empty sky and a few fluttering feathers.
Sitting on the back of a couch is a peregrine whose dark parts seem nearly purple, and whose lighter parts are grey. He pecks at his kill, then lifts his head to give his surroundings a quick scan before beating his wings and then stretching them out, the gestures disclosing two purplish markings on his underwings... markings that almost look like Decepticon badges. Unmindful that there's anything at all unusual about him, the little bird settles his wings back against his body and then starts to pluck his prey so that the fluffy stuff won't mess up their nest and bother his mate.
