No. I know that tone. You're trying to phrase something delicately, while leaving out most of the relevant information. Omit names if you like, but good advice needs some detail.

Issek folds his arms and gives her a frown. Of course, by this stage anyone at home would have guessed exactly who he was talking about. Thereby complicating matters intolerably. He's rather protective of the details he can withhold. "I only require a general answer."
