Ermm yep that should be cool. Don't make it too early though, I need to go and do stuff in the morning, and we might be going to that bodyart thing at Eumundi. So after lunch is the best bet. Hopefully it will be less crazy windy/rainy than it is right now!!

Hey Sage,
My idea for a painting is one that uses that belief in some Shamanistic cultures that by using symbols or tokens you can capture or prevent death. Essentially, my painting will capture the shooting death of a Police Officer using images and Police Code(701 - officer in need of assistance) and by mixing a bit of my own blood with the painting, I'd like to take ownership of the image. Then by confining it to the borders of the painting, I own my death. As long as I keep it in the painting, it can't come true.

I know with the Celts and the Native Americans the Shamans would be told of things that could break it, like eating dog meat or failing to name your child and then the protection spell would be broken. It will be interesting to see, if while I'm creating the painting anything comes to me.

Is there a website for this, have a mate down south who is quite arty. She won't be able to come up, but figured she might be interested.
Will you be doing a remind closer to the date, I have the memory of a sieve when it comes to anything that isn't work related dates.
