Had two weeks of family time.
It was nice to see everyone again after so long.
Lots of people are enamored with my job, so I spent most of the visit talking about that and sharing stories :)

I wrote about most of the 'good' stuff on my circus blog.
Other than that, a good chunk of time was spent dealing with my stepfamily's issues.

Pretty much what happens when I don't post for ages is, I write what I want to say in Notepad, then when I look back on it I think, "I don't feel that way now..." and I end up not posting whatever I've written.

I guess it's therapeutic to write stuff out even if I delete it later. Hopefully I won't do that with this post though.

I've been neglecting this account.

Life has been pretty much as you see on my circus blog.
As per the last post, my stepdad is in therapy in FL. In the meantime, my stepfamily is having to struggle to get by. I'm not looking forward to visiting over the Thanksgiving break. If I'm not willing to share my earnings with them, there's little I can do. ( Read more... )

We're in Boston now.

Kansas City is pretty cool. Of all the cities I've visited this year, KC is one that I could seriously see myself living in. Will have to keep an eye out for any orchestra spots haha.

Of all the things I am learning here on the circus, this is No.1.

I have always, ALWAYS been an impatient person. I may have been able to hide it well, but the truth is I am frustrated easily by others. I fail to see things from their perspective.
