I got a comment today mentioning a "severe lack of Mickey & friends" on my blog today. I ain't even bothered really, it kinda made me laugh.
Went to go see The Lorax yesterday with Katie and Justin.
I really liked it a lot but I think they did overdo it a bit on the moral of the story, only a little bit. The music was beautiful, had no doubt with John Powell as the composer, brilliant brilliant man. My favorite parts were with the Once-ler, I enjoyed their take on his story and, like Justin mentioned last night, I liked that they made the film sort of like a redemption story for him. I would have liked to see more of how he spiraled downwards in his personality but the song did do an ok job on that aspect. That being said "How Bad Can I Be?" is still my favorite song through the entire film XD catchy tune. I say go see it. My only qualm is that, unfortunately, we sat in a theater full of children. It's to be expected when you go to see a film targeted towards younger children but it would have been nice to see the film without the baby constantly crying to our right and the kids at the back of the theater chattering away. Then there was someone who decided to leave their cell phone on and that went off during the film. DX
Avoiding my mom as of Thursday's fiasco with her, she's avoiding me too so there hasn't been any family feuding to report. I'm hopefully going over to Katie's house today to hang out and play video games.
I'm nervous about Monday. Root canal. :(
