He's got his little Breeder's notebook and guidebook out as well, watching... watching...

Equius holds his nose, backing up with a startled look on his face. ]

[He watches it hatch the rest of the way from farther away in awe of this... this...

I believe this might have been the first step to becoming a "Pokemon Breeder". It has hatched safely and successfully, and it's a very healthy Pokemon. Very strong as well.
I'm not sure what to name it.
Also, I'm not quite sure, but I believe... it may be a girl.
