Greg,
I was just wondering if you have started doing whatever you are supposed to be doing - watermelon seeds maybe? Sounds like you have a big family - don't be too discouraged. Remember that you signed up for this for a reason - don't know really what that reason was, but you must have had a really good one. Just think, you'll be able to tell everyone that you survived a 500 year old village in Africa for who knows how long in the middle of nowhere! First I would like to extend my sympathy in the loss of you mother. I just wanted to comment on the family you are living with. My son stayed with them last year and had a wonderful experience with them. Hang in there it will get better.

Yeah, I met your son a few weeks ago to come visit the host family. I actually really like them, except during mealtimes.
