If you were trying to install a display adapter driver and were perpetually stuck with the error, "The required section was not found in the inf," then you may look to the internet for a solution. That's exactly what I did. After hours of sifting through unrelated issues on various forums, I established it was a result of a corrupted registry key

this is why I gave up being a systems person and moved to software. Much more fun.

My issue is that I can't code worth a crap, but I seem to be exceptional at recovering Windows without a reinstall. I'm beginning to learn the registry well enough that I may be able to start abusing its weaknesses :p
