Is the Woman's Study thing on Tuesday usual? I mean the two hour ten break between the same class. Or are you going to show up the second time and they'll be like "Sahm, what are you doing here again?"

It's a 4-credit class, so it has the extra hour and fifty minutes attached. That evening portion is actually a big discussion forum with people from all the different sections of the class.

Most lower-level (first and second year) classes are 3 credits, and thus don't have weird schedules like that.

If you can get one, a bicycle is your friend. Check out SIN, maybe?

Alternately, if the first class is a big class, you could just sit in the back and leave 5 minutes early. Not that I *ever* had a class schedule where I did things like that O:-)...

I'm currently a member of the WM Choir which takes up 6 hours a week in rehearsal and more if there's a show/etc.

Next Semester I'm starting HOPE (Health Outreach Peer Educators) which is both a class and an extracurricular commitment. They're the people who talk about alcohol/STDs/stress with students, hold seminars, pass out condoms, fun things like that.

There are lots of opportunities for extra-curriculars. I could be doing more, I just got a bit lazy .. :-P
