She was awake early, restless and full of nerves.

It's not time yet, but it's nearly so, and still she can't quite believe it's real.

But oh, as she looks at the things neatly arranged in preparation, Susan Delgado is smiling.

Lilly knocks on the door to Susan's room. She wasn't up quite as early as Susan, but she's up now, and has coffee and a lovely blue and white dress on a hanger with her. Shoes, hair stuff, makeup, and various other deeply girly things are in a bag slung over her shoulder.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for the future sai Allgood?"

She opens the door, smiling-- and it's both bright and yet clearly nervous.

"Ye've found her, I wot."

"Oh, yeah I have," Lilly says, grinning as she takes in Susan's slightly nervous smile.

"No need to be nervous, Su. I promise that whatever happens today, you're going to be a much prettier bride than Koosh's last one. Also I don't think anyone's going to sprinkle beer on you."

She steps inside, hanging up her dress and laying down her bag and coffee.

"So, did you decide how you want your hair?"

"I'd hope not," she says, laughing a little.

Susan's not dressed for the wedding yet; she's wearing a soft flannel shirt, an oversized one, and occasionally runs her fingers over a bracelet.

"And I'd thought to put flowers in it-- small ones, like the roses Anthy gave me once--" She nods toward a sombrera with a wreath of tiny white roses around the crown.

It swings open, and Anthy steps inside, hands clasped behind her back.

"Hello, Susan. You asked me before --"

When she pulls her hands out from behind her, Susan can see the bunches of tiny pink and white roses she's holding.

She brightens, beaming at Anthy.

"Thee remembered! I'd not wanted to trouble thee further with it-- but oh, I do thank ye for it, say true."

Elaine comes up to Susan's door, her arms full of lilies in gold and white.

She hopes they will be what Susan is looking for. She knocks on the door.

Elaine manages the door and bustles in with the flowers. "Good morning, Susan. Here are some lilies for you. I hope they're right..."

She smiles when she sees the wedding gown. "Oh, your dress is lovely, Susan."

"Thankee-sai, Elaine," she says simply. But oh, she is beaming, and when she sees the flowers, she clasps her hands together in delight.

"Oh, they're beautiful--"

There is a knock at Susan's door.

Mal holding flowers behind his back? Maybe.

"It's open," she calls out, "come in--"

Susan sounds cheerful, as mayhap she should on this day.

"Susan?" Mal peeks his head in through the door and enters. He's wearing the same suit he wore on Persephone and to Bernard and Tonks' wedding, but with a simple dark blue silk shirt.

"I have a couple things for ya."

She clasps her hands together under her chin and beams at him.

"Ye look wonderful-- and thee were so worried about what to wear," she teases.

"Long days and pleasant nights, Susan-sai."

"Sheemie." And oh, the pleasure at seeing him is clear.

"And may ye have twice the number."
