Gradually, the smell of smoke begins to register.

It is not the stench of burning straw, but the more familiar scent of rolled tobacco cigarettes.

And oh, but this gets her attention quickly, still.

Susan whirls around, a surprised question on her lips-- one that quickly fades as she realizes who's there with her.

"Sai-- sai Desire." A soft, startled breath-- and then it hits her.

That's as wicked a grin as Susan has ever seen Desire wear. "Never better, Sue. And yourself?"

She stares at him-- and one of the Seven or not, the words come spilling forth before she can stop herself.

"Never-- never better, sai? Are ye mad?"

As the question falls from her lips, she turns very pale-- and then rises to her feet in order to face him directly.
