Wow, thank you so much for spoiling the movie for me. Now, I don't have to watch it.

Sorry about the spoilers. Tried to be vague. I posted this on my personal journal page, not a public posting sight. I tend to review a movie when I watch it so people know whether or not to waste their money. The verdict ... I'm glad I watched it but it was flawed. I won't be offended if you de-list me so I don't ruin any other movies for you.

This. So much.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but it felt rushed I will agree. Ah well, I still bought my Dunkin' Donuts Tri-Cup for Cap. and saw it opening day. The trailer afterwards was when all the jizzing happened though. Avengers *-*

The Captain ... yes ... I -did- thoroughly enjoy my trip to the theater despite my Marvel-gripe. Watching Captain was like being given a box of chocolates and being so anxious to snarf down the entire box that you don't take the time to savor that first, decadent bite and allow the taste of all that gooey red, white and blue goodness burst on your tongue or give yourself enough time to savor the after-taste. It was definitely tasty, but after watching, I found myself saying, 'this would have been better if I'd just savored ONE and saved the rest for later...

If you ever saw the first Lord of the Rings on the big screen instead of just waiting for the directors cut to come out on DVD, yeah. It was kinda like that (though not nearly as bad as LOTR). Rush ... rush ... rush. Trying to cram too much into one movie. They easily could have milked the source cannon for two or three movies as they're doing with Iron Man.
