It's a neurological reflex. When somebody has an intense mental feeling, your body tends to turn emotional into physical. For example, when someone is really stressed out, their eye may begin to twitch. If someone is scared, they may sweat.Chances are, you're nervous. This really is theory however. Theres three different ways to approach emotion. James-Lange theory, Cannon-Bard Theory and Schacter 2 Factor. Jmes Lange states that you would see the boy, you would get physical arousal, i.e. heart pounding, and then from your heart pounding become nervous. Cannon Bard says you see the boy, and your heart starts to pound at the same time as you get nervous. Then Scachter 2 factor's theory states that you see the boy, get physically aroused, tell yourself, wow im nervos, and then actually get nervous. So thats whats really happening, even though you prolly didnt read thru all of that. It prolly is nervous though, because you want to look right, and act right and say he right things, and youre put on the spot..so you fear you cant, thus
