A little disappointed, but..

I was hoping to do a Firefly marathon today (even though over the last two nights Dad and I have finished watching the discs except all the extras) with the whole family here as we've rented Serenity to watch over the holiday.  However my sister and fiance are with his family today instead (which I hadn't been informed of earlier :P).. *sighs* I

Well, you don't HAVE to see the series before the movie.

Cases in point-we took our friends Shawn 7 Sabrina, both of whom had never seen the series, and both loved the movie. Our friend Kamana-through no influence of our own, I might add-rented Serenity the other night and loved it as well.

It can be enjoyed by Firefly virgins, although it is of course also rather enjoyable by those who've had their cherries popped.
