Sequel to
What Happens When Aiba is Left in Charge of Presents It had been a long day. It probably felt longer than it actually was, but that thought didn’t comfort Nino in the slightest. He wanted to go out drinking, to go celebrate the fact that he had made it through such a tedious day and sleep off his hangover late into tomorrow afternoon.
The gamer was shuffling through the studio for Ohno’s current drama, looking around and asking a few workers if they knew where his friend was. Nino was going to go get smashed and he knew Ohno would probably be up for the same thing. Leader never said no unless he had something scheduled, and Nino had doubled checked that before he had even entered the building.
Even though he’d sent Ohno an email over his phone about 20 minutes ago and there’d been no response, Nino had decided to come to the studio anyway. Ohno wasn’t always on the ball with stuff like that, and might’ve had to stay late filming or something anyway. Even though he should be done by now…
The last staff member had pointed to Ohno’s dressing room down the hall, where Nino was headed now. It had been hard to find someone that knew where the star was, since it was late at night and the people still hanging around were sparse, and even then he wasn’t sure if Leader was still in the vicinity or not. The man had mumbled if he's around, that’s where he’d be.
Nino had shrugged. He had already put the effort into coming here anyway, he might as well check. If Ohno wasn’t in the studio, he’d just call his phone until he answered.
The dressing room door stuck when Nino tried to open it. He furrowed his brows. There were no locks on the doors here, and especially not on something as simple as a dressing room. Nino pushed on the door gently and felt it give way a little. There must have been something on the floor on the other side blocking it from being opened.
Nino shoved a little harder and slid the door open inch by inch until he could peak his head inside through the small gap. He certainly wasn’t going to put the effort in to getting into all the way if Ohno wasn’t there in the first place.
The gamer stopped, completely frozen.
Ohno was there, certainly.
And Aiba.
And Jun.
And the three of them were participating in activities that they most certainly shouldn’t have been participating in.
They were standing next to the full length mirror on the opposite end of the room. Jun was kissing Ohno deeply, his hands running through Leader’s hair and down his neck, and Aiba was pressed up against the shortest man’s back, his hands sneaking down the front of Ohno’s pants, which seemed to be part of his drama costume.
Unable to tear his eyes away from the horror that he had discovered, Nino simply gripped the door hard enough to hurt his fingers and frowned in fury.
How dare they take advantage of Oh-chan like that?!
Nino forced the door open more, displacing whatever makeshift privacy the three had created, as Jun tore his mouth away from Ohno’s and leaned over to kiss the older man’s neck, not noticing the intrusion.
The gamer’s body stiffened and shoved the door harder as Leader let out a soft moan.
Pushing with all his might, since the entrance still wasn’t wide enough for him to fit through (despite how skinny he was), Nino finally drew Ohno’s attention.
They stared at each other, Ohno physically tensing up, and Nino finally stumbled into the room. The other two idols still hadn’t noticed him, though.
It wasn’t until Ohno spoke that they turned their heads to the door.
“Kazu…”
If it had been a different situation, Nino would have laughed at Aiba’s wide eyes and Jun’s I wish I were dead expression.
The magician stomped across the tiled floor with a fuming look on his face.
“What’re you doing to Oh-chan?” he demanded.
Aiba fumbled for words, staring at Nino with an open mouth, and Jun had retreated a step away from the raging idol. Without resistance, Nino grabbed Ohno’s hand and started dragging him back towards the door.
“Kazu-“ Ohno sounded like he wanted to explain something, but Nino turned to him and gave him a hard stare before continuing his way to the exit, still pulling Leader behind him.
He shoved the chair that had been placed behind the door aside before tearing it open the rest of the way and trudging through the frame.
Nino paused in the hallway and turned to face Aiba and Jun who were looking at the retreating pair in shock.
“I’ll never let you lay a finger on Oh-chan again!” Nino threatened, then proceeded to leave the studio with Ohno in tow, not allowing any of them a chance to make an excuse.

All the way back to Nino’s apartment, Ohno had remained silent. He was acting like a scolded child, which, when Nino thought about it, was exactly what he was.
But Nino wasn’t mad at Ohno. He was mad at Aiba and Jun for trying to take advantage of him. It was one thing to use Ohno’s kindness to get him to accompany you to the bar when you were feeling down, or to borrow a book from him so you didn’t have to buy it yourself, but it was something else entirely to force Leader into satisfying your sexual needs.
Those two had really slunk too low.
And they were in on it together, even!
The gamer swore to himself over and over again that he wouldn’t leave Ohno alone until this whole thing was cleared up, for his friend’s own safety.
When they entered the apartment, Nino glared at Ohno and pointed to the couch warningly, ready to proceed with the cross-examination. Before he started, the gamer gave Leader a few minutes, forcing him to call his mother and tell her he’d be staying the night. Ohno did so submissively and Nino sent a quick email on his own phone.
When the older man hung up his cell with a sulky look on his face, Nino stood in front of Ohno, who was seated on the couch, with folded arms.
“Did they corner you, Oh-chan? Why didn’t you yell for help? You could’ve called the police, or me at least…” Nino said anxiously, but with a hint of annoyance to his voice. He gave his friend a minute of silence, since he knew Ohno wouldn’t answer his questions otherwise.
It was obvious Leader was trying to formulate an eloquent reply, and Nino’s stomach immediately tied itself in a knot. He hadn’t responded to the question yet. The easiest answer would have been something like “Sorry, I couldn’t get away.”
“…It’s okay, Nino,” he said instead.
Ohno’s eyes were shining with honesty and the magician suddenly became afraid.
This was worse than he had thought. They had brainwashed Oh-chan, too.
“It’s not okay, Leader, you have to stand up for yourself! Everyone is going to take advantage of you and do things to you that aren’t right-“
“Not right?” Ohno broke in and Nino almost hit himself on the forehead at the naïve look that was displayed on his friend’s face.
“Doing stuff like that is not right, Oh-chan. Maybe if it was one of them we could go through the whole ‘It’s okay if you like a boy, even though I’m really surprised. I’ll always be there to support you, if this is what you really want.’” Nino paused, concluding his imitation of an understanding friend (which sounded sort of like a girl, but he didn’t care) and took a deep breath, unhappy that he had to explain something like this. But it was Ohno, so he wasn’t really surprised. “But that isn’t the situation. They both came at you at the same time. They were obviously taking advantage of you.” The gamer unfolded his hands and put them on his hips instead, in full lecture mode.
“They weren’t taking advantage of me… I wanted to-“ Ohno started in a soft voice, but Nino cut him off with a raised hand.
Far worse than he had originally thought.
Before Nino could start up again with explaining to Ohno that he had been brainwashed and that it was morally wrong to participate in threesomes (unless you were dead drunk and wouldn’t remember it in the morning or something) and that yes, Aiba and Jun were taking advantage of him, the front door caught his attention.
Sho was looking around tentatively and slowly pushing open the entrance. Nino motioned him in.
Ohno blinked at the rapper, who smiled back at him with a nervous expression.
“…I got your email.” Sho uncertainly offered to Nino. “What’s wrong?”
Ohno turned back to the television screen across from him, almost pouting.
Nino ignored him and crossed the room to join Sho by the door.
He lowered his voice and explained the situation to the newscaster, from finding the three of them together in the studio up to the end of the conversation a moment ago, and that Ohno seemed to think that being molested by two men simultaneously was okay.
Sho bit his lip and glanced over at Leader looking guilty on the sofa.
“What’re we going to do?” he asked, giving Nino an apprehensive expression.
“I don’t know. But I’m going to protect Oh-chan until we figure something out.”
Nino headed back to stand between the couch where Ohno was seated and the television, in the same position as before, and Sho followed directly behind him, although he seemed more cautious about the whole thing than Nino was.
Dammit, Nino was seriously going to give those two a piece of his mind later…
“How long has this been going on?” Sho asked in a gentle voice after a moment, giving Ohno a worried look.
Leader suddenly looked attentive at the question, perking up at Sho’s relaxed, but still somewhat anxious, attitude. Nino was still seething, after all.
It was something that the overprotective gamer hadn’t even considered. It was only today, right? It was only a coincidence, right? He didn’t want to think of a situation that had come about in which he wasn’t there to save Oh-chan.
“From around Christmastime,” Ohno responded thoughtfully.
Nino’s jaw dropped.
Suddenly he began thinking back on every Arashi activity he had participated in the last three months. Things that he had brushed aside at the time came to the surface, like after they had been out drinking when Aiba had offered to take Ohno home and Jun had somehow left with them anyway. Or the time that the three of them had insisted they would finish putting away the props so that Nino could rush back home to finish off his video game. Or when they had gone out of town for filming and Jun had requested a change with Sho so that Nino had ended up sharing a hotel room with the rapper.
And those were only the times that Nino was around.
The possibilities of a threesome rendezvous that could have occurred in just the last hundred days filled Nino’s head almost to the point of explosion.
And he had had no idea whatsoever.
Nino fell to his knees and leaned against the couch next to Ohno, completely overwhelmed. The other two idols were staring down at him with incredulous looks, but Nino ignored them and instead took Leader’s hand gently between his.
“Oh-chan, I promise I’ll protect you from those sex-crazed fanatics.”

And he had.
Since the night that he had saved Ohno from the clutches of Jun and Aiba, Nino had gone everywhere with Leader, holding him firmly by the hand, and the artist hadn’t put up much of a fight yet.
Nino wasn’t doing much work outside of Arashi filmings, and so the gamer had the time to walk his friend to his drama studio in the morning or to pick him up afterwards. He had insisted that Ohno spend every night at his apartment for the next week (at the very minimum), and they were going to be eating every meal together.
And, of course, while they were at the Arashi set was the most important time of all, since those two lechers would be around.
Together in their standby room before the next recording was awkward, to say the least.
Nino sauntered in with Leader’s hand firmly in his, and had glared at Aiba, who was seated at a table they had in the corner, and then at Jun, who had been nervously flipping through a newspaper and pacing back and forth just inside the door. Nino dragged Ohno, who was looking at Jun longingly, to the couch and plopped down, pulling Leader with him to sit flushly together.
Jun stared at them, silently asking Nino for forgiveness.
Nino furrowed his brow deeper and turned away, squeezing Ohno’s hand next to him.
When it came time to get their hair and makeup touched up, Nino kept a steady eye on the Arashi members instead of pulling out his DS as he usually would.
Aiba was sneaking glances at Ohno out of the corner of his eyes and finally Nino stood up and sat between the two of them, trying to block the animal lover’s view.
Sho wasn’t helping much, as he was pretty much only stepping in when Nino forced him to, but the tension in the air was high and the reason was clear.
Even after the recording was over and the group was to change their outfits, Nino insisted that he and Leader were going to go next door so that Ohno’s naked body wouldn’t be revealed to the perverts in the same room.
And this went on for two weeks before Aiba and Jun confronted him.
Ohno and Nino were taking some down time in the dressing room, Nino on his DS and Ohno staring at the wall in front of him with a small pout.
The door opened slowly and Aiba’s face could barely be seen through the crack.
At the small movement, Nino had jerked his head up and was looking at him, trying to cover his anxiety with a glare.
Sho wasn’t here. He didn’t think he could handle the two of them alone if it came down to a physical confrontation.
He flipped the DS closed, pausing his game, and handed the Gameboy gingerly to Ohno, who suddenly blinked out of his daze and was looking at the door longingly.
“Get out!” Nino barked, waving his arms and stalking over to the entranceway.
“We just want to talk,” Aiba said gently, backing out into the hallway as Nino approached him.
The gamer stepped into the corridor with the other two, closing the door behind him and crossing his arms.
“Talk.”
Aiba and Jun looked at each other apprehensively, then both turned to Nino together.
“Look, I think there’s been a misunderstanding,” Jun started, and Aiba nodded.
Nino waited for him to continue, but it was obvious the two of them were floundering for an excuse to offer the gamer. After a moment of silence, Nino’s temper ranging again, he gritted his teeth and took a huffed breath.
“Were you or were you not taking advantage of Oh-chan?” he asked, his voice dangerously quiet.
Aiba and Jun looked at each other again, apparently trying to wage if the other had anything to say that wouldn’t condemn them.
“That’s what I thought,” Nino continued, after he had given them enough time to respond.
He turned to open the door again, but Aiba grabbed his upper arm lightly.
“It’s… just… Please.” Nino turned to Aiba at the earnest words. “Please let me see Oh-chan.” He was hunched over and looking pretty pathetic in Nino’s opinion.
The magician tried to repress the empathy he felt for Aiba and shook his head slowly.
Jun joined him a second later, grabbing Nino’s shoulders roughly and turning the gamer towards him.
“Please, Nino.” His eyebrows were raised and his expression told Nino he was miserable. The magician had pretty much banned the two of them from seeing or touching Ohno outside of Arashi filming up until then. “Please.”
Nino thought a little harder. Aiba begging wasn’t completely unnatural, but Jun hardly ever did such a shameful thing.
The gamer sort of liked it. Jun looked like he was ready to cry.
“Nino, I love him. I fucking love him, okay?” Jun said with a cracking voice, lowered so that it could only be heard in the direct vicinity. “Please let us see him…”
“I love him too! Please, please!” Aiba said in a slightly louder voice, and pressed his palms together in front of his nose, bowing slightly to Nino.
A frown on his lips, the gamer turned from Jun’s pleading face to Aiba’s, and then sighed.
“Fine, but only for a second!”
He popped open the door and let the two Arashi members in behind him.
Aiba and Jun stared at Leader like they were afraid that Nino was going to step in at any time. Ohno had perked up and was looking back and forth between the other two with an eager expression.
Leader turned to Nino, asking for a go ahead, and the Jun Aiba pair followed his gaze. Nino rolled his eyes and tried to tell himself he wasn’t enjoying this sort of power, before nodding his head lightly.
Ohno bounded off the couch and the other two stepped forward to meet him.
Aiba collected Leader in his arms first, pulling the smaller man against him in a tight hug, a grin spreading across his face.
“Oh-chan, I missed you!”
Leader mumbled something into his chest, but Nino couldn’t make it out.
Ruffling Ohno’s hair lightly, as to not mess it up too badly, Jun allowed Aiba to hug the smaller man for quite a while longer, content to watch them with his own smile.
Now that the situation was presented before him, Nino could really see the affection the three of them held for each other. He was sort of jealous, actually, and felt stupid for not seeing it before. Of course they were Arashi and they would always love each other, but this was… intense. This was way beyond the proper relations one should have with his band members.
Aiba finally let Ohno go and the older idol turned to Jun, the two of them smiling and looking deeply in each other’s eyes. Jun rested his hands lightly on Ohno’s biceps and leaned down a little, like he was going to pull Ohno into his own hug.
Nino wasn’t sure who initiated what (he had to assume it was Jun, but Nino somehow didn’t think that he would jeopardize the facilitated time he got to have with Ohno in such a way), but instead of hugging like Aiba and Ohno had, the two of them were kissing.
Before the gamer could get a hold of himself and tear them apart, Jun’s tongue was already visible and Ohno was moaning like he hadn’t ever been kissed so deeply before.
Jun stumbled backwards as Nino jerked him away and shoved him towards the door, yelling “GET OUT”.
Watching as Jun stumbled into the wall in the hallway and then looked back at them with an expression of horror, Nino then turned to Aiba and pointed to the door. “OUT!”
Ohno had jumped to the animal lover for protection when Nino began yelling, but the miracle boy had given him a quick hug before deciding it was probably best for him to retreat as well, before Nino got physically violent. He ducked out into the hall and helped Jun right himself as the gamer slammed the door shut.
Nino tried to ignore Ohno’s pathetic look and shushed the older man as he tried to take responsibility for the action.
He dragged Leader back to the couch with him and took a few deep breaths before opening his DS, back where he had left it.
Nino vowed that he would definitely never fall for the old feel bad for me trick again.

Nino held no pity for his group mates.
He wouldn't listen to their begging any more despite the satisfaction he got out of seeing Jun's pleading face.
Except when they were on air, he had become even stricter than before, going as far as to screen Ohno's phone calls and emails. He had mercilessly replied to Jun's email of Is Nino still following you? with Stop emailing Oh-chan. He wouldn't even allow the two of them to talk to him, not that they were very eager to.
In fact, Sho was becoming a buffer. It wasn't something that Nino had really meant to do and he sort of felt bad about it, but it was the rapper who wasn't backing him and his plan to save Ohno. It was his own fault for being sympathetic to the plight of Jun and Aiba.
Sho had approached Nino one day, whispering to him out of Ohno's ear shot while Leader sat on the couch staring at the wall and looking all around miserable.
"I think you're over reacting, Nino."
"I am not. If I don't protect Oh-chan, they'll get him."
"What do you mean 'get him'?" Sho's tone was skeptical. "Nino, seriously. This is Jun and Aiba we're talking about. Neither of them would hurt a fly, let alone Ohno."
"Didn’t I tell you what I saw? They were trying to rape him."
Sho furrowed his eyebrows. "I don't think they would do that."
Nino didn't know what to say in response. Sure, Aiba and Jun were both fairly quiet and content most of the time and Nino didn't honestly think that they would force Ohno into doing something he didn't want to, but he also knew how easy it was to convince Leader he wanted to do something.
"Have you even talked to Ohno about it?" Sho asked quietly.
Nino averted his eyes, trying not to look at the topic of their conversation as the gamer moved his gaze. "Well... no, not really."
“Maybe you should start there, then."
Knowing that Sho was right, Nino still tried to keep his bitter look in place. He didn't want to admit that he might have made a mistake.
The newscaster nodded to him, signaling the end of their conversation, and left the pair alone, clearly busy with other work.
Nino gave Ohno, who hadn't moved during the whole exchange, a reproachful look, and took his guard seat up next to him.
But the gamer couldn't bring himself to ask anything.
He would just wait until tomorrow.
