I owe you guys a really long post. But, let's do bullet points, because my time is not my own. Seriously, not my own; they're making me work for a living at this new place.
I'm glad you're enjoying the new job! And yay for them being able to just up and build you a new office like that. It's nice to be important to people in power! Sounds like you're getting lots of exercise!
I definitely overcrowded my garden last year. It's hard to remember how big things will get! And I should really go water it this morning-- ah! Thanks for the reminder! I've got unripe cherry tomatoes on the vine. And already finished off my green onions and baby bok choy. Still have bush beans, carrots, and peppers to come! (But I'm not very optimistic about my peppers this year. I don't have any actual peppers on the plant yet and it's already mid-July. Not too promising, but we'll see!)
I envy you the space to grow so many vegetables! Trying to grow things in plastic pots is so limiting. It's why the cherry tomatoes. FYI, I did small, hot peppers one year and got tons. ;) Another mistake I made, I put rhubarb in one pot not realizing how effing big the leaves were going to get. Whoa. And since it's the first year for it, I couldn't even harvest it; it's a second year harvest. We'll see if it winters over!
