If you love Chris Pine as much as I do, you really need to see Hell or High Water. It's not a movie I probably would have gone to if he wasn't in it, but he made the movie. Seriously. Critics are saying he stole the show. If he isn't nominated for an Academy Award, I will be very, very disappointed.

Yay to enjoying the new ST movie! I've not seen it, and probably only will when it pops up on iTunes, the second movie kind of killed the love for me :( but heaps of people are saying #3 is ace so...I have hopes it'll come back!

Oh, you will not be disappointed in the new Trek movie. I've got a couple local friends who felt the same way, but absolutely adored the new movie. A lot of fist pumping and "yes, this is my Trek." If you still have the chance to see it in the theatre, I recommend it. Big screen all the way on this one. Not necessarily 3D, I don't like it and it works just fine in 2D.
