Firefighters & National Fire Prevention Week

It is National Fire Prevention Week now through October 15th. Their campaign this year is "Use candles with care." My mom was in the parade yesterday because she is running for re-election on city council. After the parade, they did some activities @ the firehouse. I don't think I would want to ever do that job myself, but I am truly thankful to those guys & gals that do it. I had a house fire about 4 years ago & they got there so quick. We were really lucky. We live in a small town & most of the guys are volunteers. They are just great.

Can't ya tell he knows it too? LOL He's a good kid. Works for 3 different fire companies & is in medic school right now. Jeremy is the sameway - he works for 3 companies & is in medic school. When I get home, I will post my picture of me with both of them.

I need to get some pictures of the other guys, but I hardly see them anymore since I am not working @ my old work. It's funny cause TJ was known as HSB #2. HSB stood for Hottie Squad Boy...LOL. #1 was Brandon Metzger. What a cutie he is, but he's too cocky.
