I certainly believe that love exists and that it's a very amorphous, changeable entity. Love at true sight? Probably does strike, though I've never experienced it. Lust at first sight? You betcha. ;)

*bite* lol

ok, here is my personal view:

I used to believe love at first site a long time ago, but I now believe in lust at first site. Love for me is a combination of everything and time is the key here. I think my mind has become to thought driven and not enough emotion driven. I used to be this hopeless romantic (he still is in my head from time to time), but with time I have become much more level headed and "realistic". It has it's pluses and it's negatives. Sometimes I really wish it was like the story books for me, But alas I am me after all. I mean who else would you spend all that time with at Con? lol

I was driving the Munchkin and Barn Hobbit in the car someplace (most likely to and/or from a barn) and they were discussing Pride and Prejudice, and the female characters' need to marry for money/land/position, not love. They were appalled, and the Munchkin exclaimed, "Well, that's just not right. When I get married" (insert eyelash fluttering here) "it's going to be for love!"

"Yeah!" I answered enthusiastically. "That's what I did!"

Dead silence from the back seat ...
