What do you guys keep in your (hand)bags? I'm one of those nutty survivalist types who try to cram as many things into my bag as possible, in the event that I get lost in the Amazon jungle on my way to the store. So, I have two questions I need to ask you, dear FList

I have a manicure set too, but I largely use it because 1) I love my nails, and 2) I seem to get gunk under my nails a lot for no reason, so it's good for cleaning them. I would find the tweezers + scissors more useful, but I already have a pair of tweezers in my first-aid kit, and 2 pairs of scissors in my pencil case + sewing kit.

I've never really used Vaseline myself, but I know that other people can't live without it. What do you use it for? (Sorry if that's a weird question, but it's a foreign concept to me.)

I have about 3-4 bags for different occasions, but this is for my every day shopping purse.

-Wallet
-Cell phone (if I'm out for a long time)
-MP3 Player (if I'm not wearing it)
-Mini notebook
-Pen (always forgetting it though)
-Keys
-Camera (if I think I need it, it takes up a lot of space)
-If I care, a comb and a compact mirror to use with the comb
-Handkerchief

I always need a pen =x Or a pencil. I always have the wrong one.

I have all of those things except lipstick because I don't wear it, but I have a pot of lip balm for those who do and need to borrow some (a pot that I have not used, as well as some Q-Tips to apply it with). I don't even really use hand sanitizer but I know some people go nuts for it, and I guess I'd use it if I touched something really nasty or had a cold.

Haha, our lists are looking pretty similar! May I enquire as to what oil blotting sheets + rose salve are? (I could Google, but shan't.) Everything else is pretty much exactly the same as what I have, except my compact mirror is a cupcake, I only have one strawberry shopping bag, and my glasses case is empty because it's for if I go somewhere and stay overnight and don't want to risk putting my glasses anywhere. (Drunk friends.) I don't have gloves because it is summer over here (BOY HOWDY) but in the winter I will put in a pair again. Mine are fingerless and orange because I don't have freakish babbyhands, I am just freakish babby. Rather than gloves I have considered putting in a baseball cap but I only own one baseball cap that actually suits my enormous head, and it's too special/expensive for me to crush up in the bottom of my monsterbag.

I should probably put another pack of tissues in since I never remember either and my current pack is almost out.
