The Republic of Singapore Navy is 40 years old today.

I am so very proud to belong to this very unique family.

after semi-recovering from my jetlag, it just hit me that i can access LJ from my home with no problems again.

some things in life just can't be explained... ;-)

... and very jetlagged...

It's been a fantabulously awesome break...

It's Day 3 in Norway, and I'm so comfortably lazing in my friend's super cosy house in Asker that I can't bring myself to post about my visiting the archipaelago in around Uto, Sweden...and about seeing all the lovely sights in Oslo ( Read more... )

After waking up at 3.30am to catch the 6am flight from Szczecin to Warsaw, we managed to make it to Grzegorz's hometown airport in good time. We were very fortunate because on the way back Grzegorz encountered a truck on fire and that blocked off the whole route for a good hour - meaning we would've missed our flight if that fire had occurred ( Read more... )

It took a whole 24 hours from the time we boarded the plane in Singapore to the time we stepped off the plane in Szczecin, Poland. Thankfully, the Singapore-Bangkok-Copenhagen-Warsaw-Szczecin journey wasn't as bad as the typical 24-hour journeys from Singapore to the US via Narita.
