I'm afraid of this movie. I hope they don't kill my inner child . . . Like Star Wars Episodes 1 through 3, I might have to pretend it doesn't exist . . . But, hey, they might actually get it right.

Yeah... I'm waiting to see who they cast as Kirk. That (well, and the writing... and the directing...) will make or break this movie.

My inner child is long gone, I think. I shocked one of my friends once by using a phrase I picked up onlineL "Why do they insist on raping my childhood?!" He gave me a look like he'd just swallowed his tongue and I had to explain I didn't mean LITERALLY.
