Question!

To anyone who posts things to lj without hours of weird formatting issues.... what program are you using?

Because so far I've tried Jarte, FocusWriter, Microsoft Word, and Wordpad, and they all have different strange effects.

I don,t think there is a program that doesn't have issue with LJ. I'm using word, have to double space everything before posting, and do a little html, but it's the easiest for me.

Okay. Thanks. *sighs* I don't mind doing the html on short things, but after a certain length it's just so much work!

Yeah, I know. The first long fic I ever posted, Hunter's Lullaby, is like... 100 000 words, and my beta warned me to prepare the post one chapter at a time, but I didn't listen. Spend five days, not only doing the html coding but adding the link between each chapter and making the masterpost.

It. Was. A. Nightmare.

Now I've learned from my mistakes, luckily but a lot of people switched to AO3 for this reason.

Huh. That's interesting, thank you! I use firefox, but maybe I'll play around with other browsers to see what happens...
